WHO THIS PROCEDURE IS INTENDED FOR
When the vaginal canal is only a little distended, slightly enlarged, without muscular alteration, as a result of childbirth or simply menopause, surgical vaginal tightening can be a good Intervention, which is benign and improves the intensity of sexual intercourse.
GOAL
It is the narrowing of the vaginal canal over its entire depth, which should lead to a better intimacy between the partners and therefore increased sensations for each one. Indeed, vaginal narrowing tends to project the penis towards the most sensitive and anterior areas of the vagina commonly called “zone G”. It is therefore preferable to practice this type of intervention to stimulate this area.
THE PROCEDURE
TYPE OF ANESTHESIA
Peridural or general anesthesia will probably be necessary since there are two areas of intervention, but patients will typically be able to return home the same day (day surgery).
HEALING PROCESS
Typically simple. Sexual intercourse is not recommended for ten days following surgery, due to pain and swelling of the area. On the other hand, the normal activities of daily life can be resumed in two or three days.
